Quotations & Pricing

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices may be subject to change if the scope of work is altered or if unforeseen circumstances arise. Any additional work requested will be charged accordingly and agreed in advance where possible.

Payment Terms

Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. For larger projects, staged payments or deposits may be required. Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Deposits

A deposit may be required prior to commencement of work, particularly for materials or larger projects. This deposit is non-refundable once materials have been purchased or work has commenced.

Materials

All materials supplied remain the property of Kingfisher Home & Garden Services Limited until full payment has been received. Material costs are based on current market prices and may vary if supplier prices change.

Access & Site Conditions

The customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area. Any delays caused by restricted access, site conditions, or third parties may result in additional charges.

Waste Removal

Unless otherwise agreed, waste removal is not included in the quoted price. Where waste removal is included, it will be disposed of responsibly in accordance with local regulations.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made with at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may be subject to a charge to cover lost time and any materials already purchased.

Liability

While every care is taken, Kingfisher Home & Garden Services Limited cannot be held responsible for pre-existing issues, hidden defects, or damage resulting from factors beyond our control. We hold public liability insurance for peace of mind.

Guarantee of Work

We aim to deliver all work to a high standard. Any concerns must be raised within 7 days of completion. We will assess and, where appropriate, rectify any issues directly related to our workmanship.

Weather Conditions

Outdoor work may be delayed due to adverse weather conditions. We will always aim to reschedule work as soon as possible.

Subcontractors

We may use trusted subcontractors where required. All subcontractors carry their own insurance and work to our standards.

Ownership of Goods

All goods and materials remain the property of Kingfisher Home & Garden Services Limited until full payment has been made.

Acceptance of Terms

By accepting a quotation or paying an invoice, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
